THE MARCIALONGA RUNNING TROPHY

There is an open-air music temple between the Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa: it is a spruce fir big forest, better known as Foresta dei Violini (the Violin Forest) for the quality of its fir wood which was used in past by ancient violin makers.

The trophy of the 10^th Marcialonga Running is made of this special sort of wood, to accompany all athletes with the notes of its resonance.
