MARCIALONGA 2018 NEXT JANUARY

In about four months, the 45th Marcialonga will get on track through Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa. Both the Italian valleys are surrounded by fabulous Dolomites that in these days have turned white on the peaks. Winter season gets closer and next 28 January Italy's most famous ski-marathon will celebrate its 45th time, hopefully with natural snow on the ground or – option 2 – with artificial flakes produced by the new, supersilent and environmentally friendly Demaclenko cannons.

While participants and skiers of all kind prepare themselves for the new season, the Marcialonga OC knows pretty well that the Italian event is something that keeps growing year after year, and 7.500 registered men and women are now counting down the days.

As tradition goes, the event will start off in Moena and cross the finish line in Cavalese. All the side events, called Light – with a lighter course - Baby, Mini and Young – for kids and young racers – Stars for charity and the vintage Story event, are all confirmed by the OC.
